On TikTok today (like right now) there are people around the world doing LOTS of different dances like some of the ones listed at the bottom or old dances from a couple of months ago or even years ago. Let's talk about the history of TikTok. Before TikTok, it was Musical.ly, which was a lip-syncing app, and there was not a lot of dancing but there were still some dancing videos. After four years, it changed to TikTok in August 2018, and then TikTok changed and there was barely any lip-syncing and there was way more dancing.
Lately, TikTok has been more popular. There are many reasons for this. This app is fun and keeps people busy during this boring quarantine. It is also more popular because it is easier to edit videos then YouTube or other services. This means people can make videos and edit them in a short amount of time. Then the more people like the app the more those people will suggest it to other people, and that repeats. TikTok like many other apps has trends and when these trends happen (like a dance), a lot of people will do them. Also like many other trends, the trend can become old fast, so people on TikTok have to keep up with them. Some people’s jobs are to dance or talk on TikTok; and surprisingly, that makes them a lot of money. Because of them making money off TikTok, it influences other people to join TikTok so they can be famous. This is what I call the Circle of TikTok.
We’ve included some dances that are currently popular TikTok dances, so go ahead, take a look, and try them out, and who knows: maybe you’ll be TikTok famous!
Some Different Dances To Try:
