The first-semester for me personally was kind of stressful. It felt so weird not having a teacher right in front of you talking, not having a worksheet but rather having to do it all on a computer, and just not being in a classroom. On top of all of that, it was such a huge shift in routines. I think the reason why it was so stressful was that I get headaches really easily after being on electronics for too long.
With online school, you’re on the computer for 5 hours straight and studying afterward which made me lack motivation because the headaches got so painful and distracted me. Another reason why it was stressful was that without the classroom setting I procrastinated a lot which definitely didn’t help the stress as my work was piling up. But there were some ups of online school like waking up later and ending earlier. Another pro was finding new interests since I had more free time to get into stuff. I got to spend more time with my family and I started to appreciate the small things that I didn’t see much of during my present school and I could make my own schedule.
