Talent shows are great and can show someone’s abilities and obviously their talents. Manassas Park Middle School hosted the annual talent show on February 6, 2020. There were 10 acts in the show featuring students from all grade levels in the middle school.
The talent show is a way for kids to think about those little quirks they have and transform them into talents they can display to the world. Here are a few of those talents showcased at the show:
"It made me really happy because it reminds me of the power we all have," Sydney Dondlinger said.
Sydney was the winner of the talent show. She had a very unique act with thought-out choreography and well-chosen music to go with the graceful performance.
Jad Aburjai won the most creative award in the talent show and blew the audience away with his beatboxing skills. When some audience members were asked about their favorite act of the night, they said the Jad’s beatboxing. Fun fact: It was revealed during the show that he practiced during Mr. Grasser’s math class and he did not even know it, adding a comedic twist to the act.
All of the acts did a great job and it made it even better that the show was for a good cause, as it was a fundraiser for the 6th grade class.
