Many parents and students are curious about summer school this year, especially because of the different learning circumstances and environments for this past year. We interview Ms. Katherine Maurer, who is the summer program coordinator for the secondary campus, to learn more about what summer school will entail this year.

First, Ms. Maurer explained the schedule and dates. It will run for 5 weeks from June 29 to July 30. Each day will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Students will either attend on Tuesday and Thursday OR Wednesday and Friday, similar to the hybrid schedule we are following now.

Ms. Maurer also explained what will happen at summer school. Each week is going to have a different theme and teachers will plan activities around those themes.
