Challenges of Online Learning

Virtual learning is easy for some people, but for a lot of people it is difficult. The reason many schools are doing virtual learning is because of COVID-19, the virus that keeps spreading and spreading and creating a global pandemic. Here are some of the main reasons we’ve found that it may be difficult for students during virtual learning.

Digital Instructions and Assignments

There is no teacher there to explain everything right in front of you. When the teacher is in front of you at school they can show you in person how to do a subject like math. They have to use Equatio or an online whiteboard, and sometimes your WiFi doesn't work, and you can't get to the page to write. If the teacher was right there you could just go up to the teacher and ask the teacher a question. The teacher would be able to help you right away and help you to understand the subject. If you are online, you often have to email the teacher a question then wait for the teacher to see the email and reply.

Zoom

Zoom is the website many schools use to communicate with the students and teach their topics for the day. Zoom often has a lot of lags, so the teacher may cut off and you won’t know what she or he said.

Distractions

Many students struggle to keep up with their work because they are playing video games during class or they don't pay attention to the class. The reason behind this is COVID-19 the virus that keeps spreading and spreading because people in America and everywhere do not take it seriously. If people took the lockdown and COVID-19 more seriously it would help the world get kids back to school. If we go back to school we will not have to worry about distractions as much because we will be in a classroom.
